Common Malfunction and Troubleshooting Methods of Hydraulic System of Hydraulic Carry Vehicle

Method of air removal in hydraulic system:

1) Inject the recommended hydraulic oil to the oil level specified on the scale, and lift the oil cylinder when filling.

2) Make the load of the forklift reach 1/10-1/8 of the rated load, loosen the vent plug on the lifting cylinder, and then

Lift and drop the fork several times until there are no bubbles at the vent plug, and then tighten the vent plug.

3) Tilt the inclined cylinder forward and backward to the door frame two maximum times to eliminate the air in the inclined cylinder.                       

 

Troubleshooting

Causes

Method of solving fault

It can’t lift and tilt without load.

The oil supply is insufficient

Fill fuel to the oil line

Gear pump displacement is insufficient crest clearance and tooth clearance is too large.

Replace the oil pump or parts

Multi - way reversing valve oil road blockage

Dredge oil road

Slow lifting cylinder plunger action, lifting frame discontinuity or impact

There is not enough oil in the system 

Fill the tank

Sealing is not good, the oil pipe connection is not tight, resulting in oil leakage, oil pipe rupture seal.

Tighten the pipe joint, replace the oil pipe.

Oil supply is insufficient

Repair or replace the oil pump

Safety valve improperly adjusted or damaged

There is air in the hydraulic system

Push the air out

Fork frame down, the speed is too fast

Anti-decomposition one-way throttle valve

The sliding amount of the lifting cylinder is too large, the inclination Angle of the inclined cylinder is too large, 

the leakage in the valve stem of the reversing valve is too large, and the sealing ring of the piston of the inclined cylinder fails, and the internal leakage is too large. 

Replace the original valve stem or replace the sealing ring

There is oil on the piston rod

The oil seal is damaged.

Replace the oil seal

Hydraulic system noise (cylinder movement is not smooth)

The suction hose folds or clogs

Clean the oil hose

There is air in the system

Remove the air from the system through vents

Gear pump bearing is worn

Replace the bearing

Gear pump side plate is worn

Replace the side plate

Oil cylinder is split 

Filter and safety valve dirty, blocked, resulting in increased oil pressure, so that the oil pipe split 

Clean the paper core and safety valve

Tilt cylinder is out of sync

 

Adjust the tilting cylinder piston rod so that the threaded depth of the end exceeds the observation hole on the earring to make the connection firm adjust the piston rod to synchronize the movement of the two cylinders
